When we launched in September it was more delayed than we would of liked, starting a project like this was something we had wanted to do for months.

We had a large number of article ideas and drafts and were desperate to get going, as many of you will know Wordpress theme development doesn’t happen overnight and due to commitments with clients our custom design never quite made it.

When we launched we used a Premium template and had all hopes of switching to a custom effort as soon as we could, which we have finally managed to complete.

Whats New?

We have kept the features such as related posts and popular posts, and we have kept the thumbnailed preview image for each article on the main page.

We have added a User Link Feed (Community News) which will allow our readers to submit Web and Graphic Design news which if approved will appear in the sidebar and on the actual Community News page.

Our social bookmarking has changed too, we have focused more on design links so resources such as Design Bump, Design Float and Design Moo now have a quick bookmarking button.

We have also added a poll which we hope to use to gauge users thoughts on various issues/resources.

Overall

Overall we are pretty pleased with the new design, we opted to fix for IE6 so all readers can still visit, and we *think* we have worked out any kinks, but if you find something please do share with us.

    I think the previous design was better but it’s your blog and you can have any look you want. Still this is a inspirational blog to me.
