CSS Style Switchers

Posted in Influential, Tutorials | On 26th September 2009 | Comments Off

Cascading style sheet switchers came into prominence a while back now, but they seem to be making a come back! We are seeing more and more sites opting to use the stylesheet switchers and often using cookies so when users return their favourite style is still in place.

Switchers can be used for fonts, colours, images etc and not only do they have aesthetic benefits, they can go some way to assist your site with accessibility (eg: font size, dark/light background.)

Below is a few examples of the style switchers and also a few easy to use tutorials to get you started with your own switchers.
