Iphone Apps A Web Developer Can’t Live Without
So ok the title may suggest the world may implode if you don’t download the iPhones apps I’m about to list, but they are certainly “must haves” but anyone that works in the web industry or even for the aspiring webmasters amongst us.
Not all the apps listed are free, but if there is a cost for said app, the price will be noted within the description (prices are in GBP with a USD approximation)
Ego supports, Feedburner, Google Analytics, Google Pagerank, Mint, Squarespace and Twitter, it has a smooth design and is very easy to use, and probably the best way to check your analytics on the go.

Is an MYSQL client for iPhone, very easy to use, very useful for out of office SQL tasks.

FTP On The Go is a fully functioning FTP client for the iPhone, the app comes with a build in text editor so if you notice and error on a site of yours (or a clients site) you can quickly download and fix the file.

Evernote is a fantasic app, it allows you to take notes, take pictures, doodles, task lists and many other things you might need to remember when you get back to the office.
Whats great about it is as well as the iPhone app, there is a desktop client which “syncs” to your evernote account so its easy retrievable home or away.

What the Font allows you to take a photo of a particular font, whether it is on a poster, side of a bus etc.. and will attempt to identify the font in its database.

Are My Sites up is a FREE app (with a premium plan if required) that will check up to five of your sites at least 25 times per day, it will send you SMS or email notifications with the reports.

Wordpress for iPhone pretty much does what it says on the tin, its Wordpress for your iPhone. You can do all your usual WP tasks, new posts, editing pages, moderating comments.

Palettes allows you to create and store color palettes, as well as grab colors from photos or websites.

An increasing part of any designers workload is the social aspect of the business, Tweetdeck is a superb app which allows you to use twitter for multiple account from your iPhone. This too has a desktop client and will sync up with your phone if you have registered your Tweetdeck account.
